The use of digital technology is leading to radical business changes. Value propositions change, traditional business processes are rethought from simple linear chains and value creation flows to more complex two-way network systems and network value space. New types of business models based on digital platforms are being introduced. The article focuses on the digital transformation of a business model based on digital platforms. The results of the analysis of various digital business models of companies in different fields of activity are presented. Information on what types of companies and which business models most clearly demonstrate their high competitive position is summarized. The characteristics of new types of business models of next-generation firms are given.
