The subject of managerialism- leaders and leadership is a key problem in the organization’s precesses. The aim of this paper is to present the concept of a manager and a leader in the aspect of leadership in organizations. The manager’s and leader’s activity was referred to the basic managerial functions in organizations. In their function’s processes the phenomena of managerialism and leadership were pointed out in the context of achieving the organization's goals. The evaluation of leadership in the dimension of leadership based on the method presented by J. B. Kaplan and R. Kaiser was adopted as a particular area of consideration.
