The purpose of this study is to define quality as an economic category and its role in the modern economy. The article considers the problem of products and services quality in the context of globalization. To this end, an analysis of approaches to the definition of concepts ‘quality’ and ‘quality management system’ was carried out. As an example, the educational system and its role in shaping the quality of educational services are considered. Elements of the analysis methodology of possible labor market conditions of young specialists are presented, taking into account the qualitative and quantitative characteristics. A feature of this technique is that it allows you to determine the optimal strategy for the behavior of higher education institutions in the educational services market and it is the basis for further study of educational services quality. In order to carry out the research, methods of statistical and mathematical analysis were used.
