The development of the economy has also negative effects on the environment and society. The concept of corporate social responsibility is the tool for mitigating the negative effects of enterprises’ activity. Its main idea is to implement good practices in business what will have a positive impact on the local environment and societies. The article describes the social aspect of corporate social responsibility in relation to employed people. The article has literature and empirical character. Statistical analysis was used to measure regional and sector differentiation among groups of enterprises in terms of worker-related indicators. Some statistically significant differences were found.
